Key Responsibilities
- Design, document, and maintain electrical control systems for industrial equipment, including low-voltage and 3-phase power
- Develop, modify, and support PLC and HMI applications used in machine control
- Troubleshoot electrical and control issues on the production floor and during equipment testing
- Partner with mechanical, production, and project teams to support new builds and design improvements
- Create and update electrical drawings, technical documentation, and operator materials
- Support multiple controls projects simultaneously while managing priorities and timelines
- Serve as a technical resource for internal teams and limited external support
- Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience
- Hands-on experience with industrial automation and control systems
- Proficiency using AutoCAD for electrical schematics and layouts
- Working knowledge of industrial networks such as Ethernet/IP or CAN-based systems
- Ability to work independently and drive projects from design through implementation
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a practical, problem-solving mindset
- Reliable attendance with the ability to meet a standard full-time schedule
- Minimal travel, approximately 5%
