Responsibilities
- Handle elder abuse matters in the pre-litigation phase, with exposure to litigation as needed
- Attend and participate in trials, arbitrations, depositions, mediations, and court appearances
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal documents, mediation briefs, and trial briefs
- Prepare and manage case strategy in coordination with senior attorneys
- Adhere to strict deadlines while managing a fast-paced caseload
- Travel throughout California for hearings, depositions, and proceedings as required
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members within managed departments
- Active admission to the State Bar of California
- 4 years of elder abuse law firm experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience in personal injury litigation matters
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Leadership capability and experience managing or mentoring staff
- Passion for representing injured and vulnerable clients
