DIRECTOR OF VIRTUAL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION (COMMERCIAL)

Director of Virtual Design and Construction-(Commercial) Our client is one of the most well-respected full-service Commercial General Contractors in their market through consistent delivery of excellent customer service, quality workmanship and the continual growth and development of excellent company culture. They are looking for a leader who can effectively lead teams and implement VDC strategies company wide. Director of VDC Responsibilities : Lead the development and implementation of VDC strategies company wide Collaborate with project teams to integrate VDC into all phases of construction, from pre-construction through project completion Assist in the pursuit and delivery of design-build projects Oversee the adoption and utilization of design technologies Develop and maintain company-wide standards for VDC processes, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects Research and evaluate new software, tools, and methodologies to keep the company at the forefront of industry technology Work closely with related personnel to ensure seamless coordination and execution of VDC processes Provide technical support and troubleshooting for VDC-related challenges during project development and execution Ensure that all VDC deliverables are accurate, timely, and align with project goals and client expectations Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of virtual designs Identify and mitigate risks associated with VDC processes, including potential design clashes, budget overruns, and timeline delays Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding VDC-related inquiries and updates Present VDC models and processes to clients, ensuring transparency and understanding of project progress and decisions Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams to enhance their VDC capabilities Director of VDC Qualifications : 7 years of experience leading teams in a VDC, BIM, or related role within the commercial construction industry Bachelors degree in a related field Strong understanding of construction processes, architectural design, and engineering principles Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines Director of VDC Benefits : Full medical, Dental 401K, company phone, laptop, etc. Competitive PTO, two weeks paid vacation starting out Bonus opportunity (incentive based) If working with a motivated, fun team that is committed to success while having a flexible schedule that offers a work / life balance sounds appealing to you, don't miss out on this opportunity and apply online NOW or submit your resume and project list to david.burgessgogpac.com .
