Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial loan requests and prepare detailed credit presentations.
- Evaluate borrower financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and collateral.
- Assess credit risk and make recommendations regarding loan structure and approval.
- Perform financial spreading and ratio analysis.
- Monitor existing loan relationships and identify emerging credit concerns.
- Assist lenders with portfolio management and annual credit reviews.
- Ensure compliance with bank credit policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare written credit memorandums for management and loan committee review.
- Support commercial lending activities through thorough credit analysis and risk assessment.
- 2-5 years of commercial credit analysis experience within a bank or financial institution.
- Strong understanding of commercial lending principles and credit risk analysis.
- Experience analyzing commercial real estate (CRE) and/or C&I loan relationships preferred.
- Ability to interpret financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow analyses.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
