Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate conceptual, schematic, design-development, and GMP estimates
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Develop detailed quantity take-offs and pricing
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
- Participate in scope reviews, value engineering, and risk analysis
- Support preconstruction meetings and client presentations
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and owners
- Maintain historical cost data and market pricing awareness
- 5 years of commercial construction estimating experience
- Experience with large-scale commercial projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and materials
- Proficiency with estimating software and take-off tools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
