The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation and financial legal matters, with a proven track record of success. You will work closely with clients, providing counsel on complex litigation issues, financial transactions, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in commercial litigation cases, including contract disputes, corporate governance issues, and business torts.
- Advise clients on finance-related legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, structured finance, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and legal briefs.
- Provide legal advice and strategy on complex business and finance-related issues.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal teams to ensure high-quality representation.
- Manage case files and maintain client communications throughout the litigation and negotiation processes.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Tennessee Bar (or ability to obtain admission promptly).
- 3-6 years of experience in commercial litigation and finance law
- Strong knowledge of commercial law, contract law, and financial regulations.
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority cases with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.
- Experience representing clients in high-stakes litigation and complex financial transactions.
- Familiarity with regulatory agencies and compliance matters.
- Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced legal environment.
