Responsibilities
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and addenda to define a clear and detailed scope of work
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs and develop thorough cost estimates, project budgets, and construction schedules
- Communicate and build strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure accurate proposals
- Attend preconstruction meetings to gather project information and build connections with architects, engineers, and clients
- Collaborate with project teams to prepare and submit comprehensive, competitive bid proposals
- Suggest value engineering strategies when appropriate
- Develop and maintain a database of unit costs, historical pricing, and vendor contacts
- 3 years of experience as an estimator for a commercial general contractor with Structural Concrete experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple estimates at various stages of development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Field experience in commercial construction
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Science, or related field
- Experience with Blue Beam, Procore, and other estimating software

Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
