Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and support CNC grinding machines at customer facilities.
- Develop and optimize grinding applications and machining processes for customer-specific requirements.
- Provide operator training and technical instruction on machine operation and programming.
- Conduct machine demonstrations and prove-outs at company and customer locations.
- Troubleshoot machine, process, and application issues to ensure equipment performs to specifications.
- Assist in preparing time studies, technical proposals, and application documentation to support equipment sales.
- Document processes and continually expand technical knowledge through hands-on experience and ongoing training.
- Travel extensively to customer sites throughout North America (up to 70%).
- 3 years of experience with CNC machine tools, including programming, applications, installation, or training.
- CNC grinding experience or exposure to precision machining processes preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with shop equipment and precision measuring tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and develop practical solutions independently.
- Comfortable presenting technical information and training customers in both individual and group settings.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard business software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Experience conducting time studies and documenting processes is a plus.
