Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with planning, coordinating, and executing steel construction projects
- Support project documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and schedules
- Conduct site walks, track progress, and assist with field coordination
- Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution
- Help manage material procurement, delivery schedules, and logistics
- Assist with cost tracking, budget monitoring, and reporting
- Support quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications
- Participate in project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and follow-up actions
- 1-2 years of experience in the construction industry (steel experience is a plus but not required)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in both field and office environments
- Eagerness to learn, take direction, and grow into a larger PM role
- Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.) is a plus
- Hands-on mentorship from seasoned project managers
- Exposure to the full project lifecycle from preconstruction through turnover
- A mix of field and office work to build well-rounded experience
