Position Summary:The Accounting Manager is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company's financial records and supporting the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. This position performs complex accounting activities, prepares financial analyses, reconciles accounts, assists with audits, and ensures compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The Senior Accountant serves as a key member of the accounting team, supporting process improvements and special projects. This role serves as the lead finance representative for the assigned business entity, presenting financial results, supporting leadership decision-making, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
Key Responsibilities:-Prepare and record journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments.-Analyze business trends, profitability, working capital, and operating results to identify opportunities for improvement.-Serve as a strategic business partner by identifying opportunities to improve profitability, enhance cash flow, reduce costs, and deliver measurable returns through process optimization and data-driven decision making.-Analyze industry trends to identify cost risks and opportunities, delivering actionable insights to finance and operations leadership.-Identify and implement process improvements that deliver measurable efficiency gains and cost savings.-Develop and maintain financial dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting tools to support decision-making.-Leverage ERP systems, Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency.-Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.-Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial records.-Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.-Intercompany reconciliation

Candidate Profile:Education-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.Experience-5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.-Manufacturing, food manufacturing, or consumer products experience preferred.-Cost Accounting & Inventory experience strongly preferred-Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills required.-Experience with financial statement preparation and account reconciliations.
