What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Foreman position at GP Landscape Design?
The Crew Leader will be responsible for executing site level tasks for GP Landscape Design clients. The Crew Leader will direct the work of 2-4 crew members and ensure assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently and to the quality standards set by GP Landscape Design. Crew Leaders will work alongside and oversee crew members to provide hands-on leadership and guidance in varying services including basic maintenance, landscape installation and supportive services.
Requirements:
· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
· Physically capable to safely lift up to 100lbs.
· Hold and maintain a minimum Class D Drivers License applicable medical card.
· Ability to safely operate all commercial landscape tools and equipment as instructed.
· Working knowledge of perennials, shrubs and trees.
· Skill set: mowing, trimming, mulching, general clean up and snow removal.
Responsibilities:
· Inspect, Drive and Maintain company vehicle
· Maintain scheduled work and ensure service expectations are met.
· Interact with clients to help ensure job satisfaction and report back to direct supervisor for approvals/change work orders.
· Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies.
· Communicate regularly with Direct Supervisor to ensure client needs are being consistently met or exceeded.
· Identify more efficient ways to perform work.
· Oversee day to day site operations and delegate work to crew members.
· Provide Direct Supervisor feedback on crew members.
· Work with Direct Supervisor to help develop and train crew members.
· Ensure equipment preventative maintenance is performed as needed and equipment is in good working order.
· Safeguard assets from theft and misuse.
· Abide by all internal controls and compliance.
· Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
· Participate in company/client meetings as directed.
· Accurately complete all job order paperwork to track and record all job expenses and crew time log.
· All other tasks and duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
