What are the responsibilities and job description for the Molding Tech 1 (Day Shift) position at GP&C?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the safety of yourself and your team members
- Responsible to adhering to production schedule by being at your machine at the start of your shift to your assigned press(s)
- Able to successfully achieve daily production goal of rubber/phenolic goods
- Able to maintain low scrap rate
- Maintain workplace organization (5S standards)
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFITCATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Required
- Can read, write and speak English
- Able to work 6 days per week if needed
- Flexibility to work 12 hour shift and swing shifts
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds
- Able to perform simple math calculations
- Preferred
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings
