What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Tech - Oven position at GP&C?
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Load and unload ovens
- Complete paperwork as required
- Select and verify oven cure profiles
- Sweep and Mop floors as required
- Labor in/out using data collect
- Maintain 5S standards
- Move completed parts to staging area
- Perform necessary preventative maintenance on equipment
- Work closely with other departments to determine oven schedule
- Use of overhead crane
- Follow all work procedures for the area
- Comply with all safety and company policies
Qualifications & Experience:
- No experience required
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Read and speak English
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Must be able to lift 45lbs
- Must be able to wear all required PPE
- Must be able to stand for 10-12 hrs per shift
- Must be able to work in both hot and cold conditions
- Must be able to work around different types of resins and composite materials
- Must be able to work around chemicals and solvents such as acetone, releasing agents and various cleaning supplies
