Material Tech - Impregnation (Night Shift)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform the resin infusion process.
• Assemble chambers
• Perform vacuum leak checks
• Read and monitor vacuum gages
• Use of temperature probe/infrared temperature guns
• Use of overhead crane
• Operate ice blasting machine
• Load oven
• Remove parts and resin from chambers
• Perform necessary preventative maintenance on equipment
• Sweep and mop as needed
• Maintain 5S standards
• Clean and replace temporary floor as needed
• Follow all work procedures for the area
• Comply with all safety and company policies

       Qualifications & Experience:

• No experience required
• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills
• Read and speak English

       Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Must be able to lift 45lbs
• Must be able to wear all required PPE
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work in both hot and cold conditions
• Must be able to work around different types of resins and composite materials
• Must be able to work around chemicals and solvents such as acetone, releasing agents and various cleaning supplies
