What are the responsibilities and job description for the Make Ready Tech position at GP&C?
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
o Clean, deburr, sand, and finish products as required.
o Perform sandblasting as needed.
o Repair and patch materials according to instructions from leadership or engineering.
o Accurately document labor transactions.
o Utilize hand tools and air tools effectively.
o Maintain 5S standards for workplace organization and cleanliness.
o Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
o Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
o Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
o Education:
o High School Diploma/GED.
o Experience:
o No experience required.
o Skills:
o Experience with sandblasting equipment and abrasive finishing processes.
o Proficient in the use of hand tools and pneumatic (air) tools.
o Strong understanding of and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
o Commitment to workplace safety standards and company compliance policies.
