Job position description:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to support our Maintenance Director with a variety of facility and property maintenance projects.
Primary Duties & Functions:
- Assisting with General maintenance and repair tasks
- Performing light construction work and basic carpentry
- helping with equipment installation, repairs, and preventive maintenance
- Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and supplies
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Traveling within the state as needed for projects
- Strong mechanical aptitude and general handyman skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds
- Willingness to travel throughout the state, including occasional overnight stays
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Construction, maintenance, or related experience preferred
