We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Service Technician specializing in Tires, Oil Changes, DVI's (Digital Vehicle Inspections), and Quality Checks. Duties
- Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, rotation, and repair to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.
- Conduct oil changes using appropriate fluids and tools, adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI's) by thoroughly assessing vehicle systems and documenting findings for customer review.
- Conduct detailed quality checks on vehicles to verify repairs, maintenance work, and overall condition before delivery.
- Assist with minor mechanical repairs such as brake inspections, fluid replacements, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively to diagnose issues and perform repairs efficiently.
- Support vehicle maintenance tasks including alignment checks, fluid top-offs, and general mechanical repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Dealership or automotive service experience is highly preferred; previous mechanic experience is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of standard passenger car operation, automotive diagnostics, and mechanical repair techniques.
- Familiarity with automotive fluid replacement procedures including oil changes and coolant flushes.
- Hands-on experience with tire service equipment, alignment tools, hand tools, and power tools.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to perform minor mechanical repairs confidently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude toward clients and team members.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely during tire installations or vehicle maintenance tasks; physical stamina is essential.
- Experience in automotive diagnostics and general vehicle maintenance will set you apart.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; dealership or service technician experience is a plus.
