Gower’s Brake & Alignment is adding another experienced A-level technician because we have more work than our current team can complete quickly enough. This is a growth hire—not an ad created because we don’t have work.
WHAT YOU GET

THE PAY IS SPECIFIC
At 40 flagged hours per week:
- $45/hour = $93,600 annualized
- $55/hour = $114,400 annualized
At 50 flagged hours per week:
- $45/hour = $117,000 annualized
- $55/hour = $143,000 annualized
Compensation is flat rate. These examples demonstrate earning potential at different production levels and are not a guaranteed salary or guarantee of hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately diagnose electrical, drivability, mechanical, and check-engine-light concerns
- Perform engine, heating and air-conditioning, steering, suspension, brake, and general mechanical repairs
- Perform wheel alignments, tire services, and related maintenance
- Complete thorough digital vehicle inspections with useful photos, notes, and clearly documented findings
- Review service information, wiring diagrams, technical procedures, and diagnostic data when needed
- Verify completed repairs through testing, test drives, and quality-control procedures
- Communicate findings clearly so the service advisor can accurately present the vehicle’s needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work area
- Help move the overall shop workflow forward and support the team when needed
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven A-level experience in a dealership or professional independent repair shop
- Strong diagnostic, electrical, drivability, and mechanical repair ability
- Ability to diagnose the vehicle accurately instead of simply replacing parts
- Experience with brakes, steering, suspension, alignments, air conditioning, and engine repairs
- Your own professional automotive tools
- Valid driver’s license
- Dependable attendance and professional communication
- Ability to produce efficiently without sacrificing workmanship
- ASE certifications are preferred, but demonstrated A-level ability matters more than certificates hanging on a wall
