Data Analyst Intern
Position Summary:
Assists the Business Development Specialist and Business Systems Analyst in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data. The successful candidate will possess an eye for detail and have a teamwork mindset working with colleagues across departments.
Job Status:
- Part-Time
- Hourly
- Temporary (3-6 months)
Job Duties (includes, but is not limited to the following)
- Collect data regarding operations
- Organize, analyze, and interpret trends with operational data
- Coordinate with production supervisors when analyzing data
- Present standard data sets and information in an understandable and compelling manner
- Assist with development of financial models.
- Maintain Labor Cost spreadsheet and update other Excel reports and tables as needed
- Assist Business Systems Analyst with various projects and tasks
Essential Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs with emphasis in Excel
- Follows written and verbal instructions
- Communicates effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing
- Ability to create and maintain accurate spreadsheets, reports, and files with accuracy
- Ability to review and check submitted work of others to ensure accuracy
- Possesses a strong understanding of basic math skills
- Possesses a general understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to function as part of a team to accomplish the goals of the department
- Must follow all safety requirements of working in a manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual a plus, but not required.
