As an Account Executive, you’ll lead a consultative sales process built around diagnosis, alignment, and momentum. Your key responsibility is to run a structured Deep Dive that uncovers the prospect’s challenges and goals, clearly connects our value proposition, and drives toward a Next Steps call where we align on Demo and next steps.
What you'll do:
- Own the sales cycle from discovery through signed agreement and handoff to implementation.
- Execute the Deep Dive to:
- Present our Company Value Proposition
- Diagnose the prospect’s challenges, constraints, and success outcomes
- Correlate the joint execution plan to the action items needed
- Schedule and lead the Next Steps call to confirm stakeholders, timeline, scope, and implementation approach.
- Build trust with executives and cross-functional teams (finance, ops, IT) through business-first conversations.
- Keep pipeline clean and accurate in the CRM; maintain strong follow-up, documentation, and forecasting.
- Partner with solutions/implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to kickoff.
- Maintain a proactive, consistent prospecting and follow-up cadence.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- 2–7 years of B2B sales experience (SaaS, consulting, technology services, or ERP-adjacent preferred)
- Strong consultative selling skills: discovery, qualification, objection handling, and multi-stakeholder alignment
- Confidence leading structured conversations (agenda, time-boxing, next steps and joint execution plans)
- Comfortable discussing business operations and outcomes (process, reporting, scalability, change management)
- Organized, responsive, and coachable; enjoys working within a defined sales framework
- Experience using a CRM (HubSpot or similar)
- ERP experience with Acumatica, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Sage, etc.
- Selling services/support packages alongside software
- Experience with CFO/COO/Controller-level stakeholders
- Familiarity with sales methodologies
