Job Summary
We are seeking a part time Delivery Driver to join our team! As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting medications to various patient locations in NYC, obtaining signatures, and collecting co-pays. You will also be responsible for recording your packages and trips and maintaining a log of work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, be personable and have your own vehicle with drivers license. We will pay compensation for mileage used in addition to hourly pay. Your work schedule begins at 1pm on Tuesdays - Fridays and 12pm on Saturdays (a must), and your shift is over once all deliveries on your route are completed.
Responsibilities
- Pick up medications from Parkside Chemists location in Brooklyn and deliver packages discreetly to a variety of customer locations in the boroughs of NYC
- Obtain signatures and collect payment for deliveries as needed
- Record information or messages and ensure they arrive at the appropriate place
- Maintain accurate records and logs of packages and transport
Qualifications
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Demonstrated experience working independently and following directions
- Ability to maintain records and transcribe the information on packages or routes
