Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine to clean and sanitize dishes, trays, silverware, glassware, pots, and pans

• Scrape, separate, and organize items prior to washing

• Monitor and record dish-machine temperatures; report any low temperatures or malfunctions immediately

• Set up and utilize a three-compartment sink for cleaning and sanitizing pots and pans

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping floors, and removing trash

• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and supply deliveries

• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure food safety

• Support dining and serving area setup as needed

• Perform all duties in accordance with food safety and sanitation best practices

• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift

• Must be able to push and pull carts, racks, and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance

• Must be able to work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced kitchen environment

• Must be able to safely handle cleaning chemicals and operate dishwashing equipment

Position Details

• Rate of Pay: Based on experience

• Status: Full-Time or Part-Time

• Hours: Flexible scheduling available

  • Full-Time: Average of 32 hours per week after 90 days

  • Part-Time: Average of 31 or fewer hours per week after 90 days
