Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified individual to perform custodial functions and assist in maintaining assigned Senior Center buildings and facilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Performs a wide variety of custodial functions including cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
- Assists in maintaining assigned Senior Center buildings and facilities including performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Provides daily driving or escort services for senior citizens to and from various activities such as medical appointments, shopping trips, and congregate/senior center for meals.
- Delivers homebound meals and other needed commodities to senior clients.
- Checks on the well-being of senior clients and notifies supervisor of changes or concerns related to client health and well-being.
Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A valid driver's license.
Working Environment
This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time.
