Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance duties including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to ensure pristine outdoor spaces.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators and snow plows safely and efficiently.
- Carry out lawn care tasks like fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote healthy turf growth.
- Execute landscape construction projects involving hardscape installation, planting beds, and irrigation systems.
- Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to maintain safety and aesthetics.
- Maintain equipment through routine inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or gardening to meet client needs year-round.
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related outdoor maintenance roles is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscape work is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and hardscape installation enhances your effectiveness on the job.
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and health assessment supports safe and professional service delivery.
- Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or irrigation systems is a plus but training will be provided if needed.
