About the Role
Gov2Biz delivers a modern, configurable platform that manages the full licensing and regulatory lifecycle for government agencies. We are looking for a Business Analyst who can turn government rules, workflows, and compliance requirements into clear, scalable digital processes across our platform.
Key Responsibilities
· Engage closely with customers and technology team members to gather requirements, assist in designing features, and ensure the product’s alignment with customer needs.
· Analyze current systems that are being replaced, map as-is process and design the translated to-be process maps.
· Translate business requirements into comprehensive user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, workflow diagrams, data models, and other functional documentation to support development and testing teams.
- Develop mockups and wireframes for screens, notifications, widgets for customer requirements.
· Participate in the full spectrum of implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
· Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, architecture teams, developers, QA ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle
· Facilitate requirements walkthroughs and sign-off sessions with business owners, SMEs, and technical teams.
· Support data mapping and integration requirements for external systems used by agencies.
· Ensure the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation, release notes, and other pertinent information, aiding in the clear communication of product attributes and enhancements.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
· A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT business analysis
· Hands on experience in JIRA, Confluence and Atlassian suite
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical prowess, able to manage multiple priorities and meet stringent deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- IIBA CBAP/CCBA certification desirable.
- Experience in government operations, regulatory programs, or digital transformation projects.
- Knowledge of payments, or basic accounting/financial concepts as used in government systems.
- Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS platforms or configurable enterprise systems
- Candidates from San Antonio,TX/Austin,TX area preferred.
