Must Have Skills and Experience

  • Wi-Fi 4 through 7 experiences (nonnegotiable), ideally carrier grade deployments (e.g., for large ISPs).
  • Strong network deployment background in live "big boy" networks with high blast radius; comfort with manual network crawling when needed.
  • Decent routing/switching proficiency.
  • Jira and "chalk" proficiency; Confluence knowledge is a plus; understanding Jira chalk interoperability is beneficial.
  • Personality/culture: proactive, collaborative, "go getters." Nate will also consider quieter candidates if they are rock solid professionals.

Required Qualifications

Proficient data wireless networking knowledge (OSI Model, TCP/IP, etc.). Proficient knowledge of related wireless industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, 802.11 variants, Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet and Transport technologies and protocols. Proficient knowledge in wireless network design, wireless network architecture, protocols, and wireless network topology. Proficient knowledge of basic wireless network devices and basic wireless network appliances. Proficient knowledge of wireless network designing software, such as Visio and Microsoft Office knowledge.

Education- bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.

Related Work Experience 5 Wireless network experience.

Cisco Certified Wireless network Professional (CCNP ), Wireless industry and vendor specific training (Cisco, Ariss, Ruckus, etc.).

10 plus applicable Specialized Skills years of experience.
