Job Summary (List Format) Oracle PL/SQL Engineer, Newark, DE (Hybrid)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and ETL processes
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data warehousing and analytics requirements
- Work with upstream SOR systems and downstream data models
- Perform database fine tuning and optimize performance
- Streamline and improve data flow and quality, ensuring data integrity and value
- Conduct independent data analysis on large datasets to identify patterns and present findings
- Enhance existing processes and define new ones
- Collaborate in an agile, fast-paced development environment
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Work effectively as part of a development team with minimal supervision
- Hold a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative field (e.g. computer science, mathematics, engineering, finance)
- Utilize ETL tools such as DataStage, Informatica, or Alteryx
- Use BI tools like Tableau or MicroStrategy for reporting and analytics
- Familiar with job scheduling tools (e.g. Autosys, Shell scripts)
- Possess strong Excel skills
