Job Title: Catering Delivery Driver and Food Truck Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Catering Delivery Driver and Food Truck Driver to join our team at Gourmet Kreyol. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safe and punctual delivery of catering orders to our valued clients. Additionally, the chosen candidate will occasionally drive the food truck to the scheduled location, contributing to the success of our food truck operations at special events and food truck venues.

Responsibilities:

• Catering Delivery:
• Safely transport catering orders to designated locations, ensuring the food remains in optimal condition.
• Provide exceptional customer service by being courteous, professional, and attentive during deliveries.
• Double-check orders before departure to guarantee all items are packed and accounted for.
• Collaborate with the catering team to maintain efficient delivery schedules and promptly address any delivery-related issues.
• Adhere to all traffic rules, regulations, and safety guidelines while on the road.
• Ensure food reaches its destination on-time.

Food Truck Driving:

• Safely drive the food truck to and from event locations, adhering to traffic and parking regulations.
• Assist in food preparation and service inside the food truck during events as needed.

Maintenance and Inspection:

• Regularly inspect the catering delivery vehicle and food truck to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly to the management.
• Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained at all times.

Communication and Teamwork:

• Coordinate delivery schedules and event logistics with the catering team.
• Communicate effectively with clients to confirm delivery times and locations.
• Collaborate with the catering and food truck teams to ensure smooth operations during events.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in catering delivery and/or food truck driving preferred.
• Excellent driving skills, punctuality, and time management.
• Customer-focused with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle various food items safely and follow food safety guidelines.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing tasks.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
