Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Enter and update financial transactions into multiple accounting software platforms including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Workday, and others.
- Perform account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and general ledger entries with precision.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable data entry to ensure timely processing and accuracy.
- Conduct detailed data analysis using Excel spreadsheets to support financial reporting and audit preparations.
- Assist with month-end close processes by verifying journal entries and supporting documentation.
- Handle confidential financial information with integrity and discretion while maintaining data security standards.
- Support payroll management tasks using systems such as ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, or Ceridian, ensuring accurate employee compensation processing.
Experience
- Proven experience in accounting data entry or bookkeeping within a corporate or governmental setting.
- Familiarity with financial software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and governmental accounting practices is preferred.
- Experience working with payroll systems like ADP or UltiPro is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to perform detailed data analysis using Excel and other spreadsheet tools.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements related to internal controls over financial reporting.
- Excellent numeracy skills combined with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
