Position Summary:
Join us in the cannabis industry, we are seeking dependable and experienced Warehouse Order Selectors to join our fast-paced distribution team in Irvine. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of recent experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks and thrives in a high-volume warehouse environment. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, staging, wrapping, and preparing customer orders for shipment using RF scanners and warehouse equipment.
Job Shift: Mon-Fri 8:30AM – 5:00PM
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Experience within the cannabis industry perferred.
- Steel-toe boots are required on the first day of employment.
- Previous order selection and RF scanner experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow all safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Flexibility to work overtime.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Safely operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move products throughout the facility.
- Build, stage, wrap, label, and prepare pallets for shipping and loading.
- Verify order accuracy and inspect products for quality before shipment.
- Meet established productivity, efficiency, and accuracy standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to maintain smooth workflow operations.
- Perform general warehouse duties and other tasks as assigned.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
