Shift Lead

Job Purpose:
- The Shift Lead at GOTTS PARTNERS LP is responsible for overseeing daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The role involves supervising team members, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Shift Lead acts as a key point of contact between management and staff, fostering a productive and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during assigned shifts to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Ensure that all staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist in training and developing team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of the work area to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of shift activities, including attendance, performance, and any incidents that occur.
- Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving operational processes and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to company values.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in business management or a related field is preferred.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a retail or customer service environment.
- Proven track record of managing teams effectively and achieving operational goals.
- Experience in scheduling, inventory management, and customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic financial reporting.
