This role provides dedicated support to one of the firm’s founding partners and the top-producing Wealth Advisor at Commonwealth Financial Network, working with a sophisticated client base that includes high-net-worth and multi-generational families. These clients value and expect responsiveness, discretion, and exceptional service, and many relationships involve multiple accounts and entities, as well as coordination with external advisors.
Our clients typically have $5M–$20M in investable assets and often require coordination across investments, tax, estate, and other planning considerations. This role is best suited for someone comfortable operating in a high-touch, high-accountability environment where precision, discretion, and responsiveness are expected.

About the Role
The Senior Relationship Manager (SRM) plays a key role in delivering high-quality service to clients and supporting advisors across a range of planning, operational, and service functions. In this role, you will serve as the primary relationship manager supporting a founding partner and the firm’s top-producing advisor, acting as a trusted extension of the advisor for day-to-day client needs. You will play a key role in servicing a sophisticated book of high-net-worth clients, ensuring a seamless, white-glove client experience.
The SRM is responsible for managing day-to-day client needs, coordinating internal workflows, and ensuring timely, proactive, white-glove support at every touchpoint.
You will work closely with advisors and analysts to prepare for client meetings, handle service requests, manage CRM data, and execute on follow-up items with consistency and accountability. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, a strong sense of urgency, task ownership, and a commitment to excellence. Our ideal candidate is comfortable working across systems and adopting new tools to enhance efficiency and the client experience.

Key Responsibilities
Client Support & Service Delivery
- Act as a primary point of contact for client service needs, including cashiering, transfers, distributions, address changes, and account updates.
- Deliver prompt, polished, and proactive communication to clients, reflecting a true white-glove service experience.
- Proactively follow up on open items, paperwork, and outstanding client requests with a strong focus on timeliness and follow-through.
- Prepare and review client meeting materials and execute on advisor-driven follow-up items.
- Help clients navigate custodial portals and facilitate wire transfers, RMDs, and digital paperwork.
- Support the onboarding process for new clients, including paperwork prep, account setup, and tracking progress through each stage to ensure a seamless first impression.
- Serve as a reliable extension of the advisor by helping manage ongoing client needs and ensuring continuity across interactions.
Workflow Coordination & Pod Support
- Manage service tasks and workflows within the CRM, ensuring accurate tracking and follow-through.
- Collaborate with analysts and advisors to maintain visibility across in-progress requests and upcoming client events.
- Anticipate upcoming client needs and deadlines rather than reacting to issues after the fact.
- Ensure consistent pod coverage and alignment across client meetings, follow-ups, and service need.s
- Participate in regular syncs with your Advisor Pod to review priorities, ensure alignment, and surface potential service gaps.
CRM, Documentation, & Compliance
- Maintain complete, up-to-date client records and service activity within the CRM
- Upload documentation to electronic client files and ensure consistency across systems.
- Assist in collecting and maintaining KYC and compliance documentation as required.
- Follow internal SOPs and contribute to process improvements that support better client outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to firm and regulatory requirements across all client interactions and documentation.
What You Bring
- 5 years of experience in client service, financial planning support, or operations within a wealth management, RIA, or financial services environment
- A strong service mindset and pride in delivering a premium client experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational discipline
- Excellent communication skills; clear, warm, and professional with clients and colleagues
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and juggling multiple requests and priorities without sacrificing quality or responsiveness
- Comfort working across systems and staying current on tools that improve efficiency and client experience
- Strong sense of ownership, follow-through, and accountability in managing client requests and workflows
- Comfort and experience working with ultra-high net worth clients
- Familiarity with custodians such as LPL, Fidelity, Schwab, or Commonwealth, and tools like Advisor360/Investor360, Redtail, or DocuSign
- High degree of discretion and respect for client privacy and sensitive information
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Series 65 or 66 a plus (or willingness to pursue)
