Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Part-Time Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role involves engaging with customers, providing excellent service, and assisting with product displays and sales. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling
- Social media and face book live video's is a must.
- Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves
- Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and merchandising
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including basic math for register balancing
- Support team members with supervising experience when needed, ensuring smooth store operations
- Promote a positive shopping environment through effective communication and phone etiquette
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service expertise
- Ability to perform upselling and product demonstrations effectively
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, and retail sales environments such as grocery stores or similar settings
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs
- Supervising experience is a plus for supporting team leadership roles
- Friendly demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers
- Ability to work part-time hours flexibly while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
