Printing Production Manager

GotPrint, a rapidly-expanding online printing company with multiple facilities across the United States, is looking for a Printing Production Manager. The Production Manager runs the day-to-day operation of production and oversees and manages a production team of 60+ employees. He/She will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition from one production stage to another, and for organizing production so that the various stages are completed in sufficient time. Duties and Responsibilities: Management of multiple projects simultaneously; juggling many things at once yet able to manage client expectations accordingly Full understanding of offset press, pre-press and post-press Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Define and coordinate print production schedules Liaising among different departments e.g. Pre-press, Press, Bindery, Quality, etc. Demonstrated ability to plan, manage and execute successfully Provide creative solutions to production issues Be a team player; doing whatever is necessary to meet project demands Responsible for monthly performance analysis Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred 20+ years experience in the Printing Industry Minimum 8 years in Management Ability to work with and interact with a variety of individuals Strong people management skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Extremely organized with strong attention to detail Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven and multi project coordination environment About Us: GotPrint has led the industry with its web-based Global operations and began building a nationwide network of offset printing facilities to provide faster, more responsive service to our customers.
