Job Description
The Sales Director - ESS is responsible for leading and managing the sales team in the designated regions (Eastern US, Western US, Canada, South America) to drive the sales and market expansion of energy storage products. Ideally this person will have Utility Scale Solar/ESS experience working directly with Large Developers, IPP's, EPCs, Distributors, Utility Companies etc.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet the regional sales targets assigned by the company
- Experience working directly with procurement teams and investment decision makers for Utility or CI scale Solar BESS systems
- Prefer experience with Utility scale renewable energy projects 5MW and greater
- Owns the commercial negotiation process which includes but is not limited to the RFP, MSA, LTSA, PPA stage etc
- Expand the energy storage market, identify potential customers, understand customer needs
- Regularly revisit customers to establish long-term cooperative relationships
- Organize and develop the sales team in accordance with company goals
- Understand industry dynamics and competitor situations, provide timely market information feedback, and offer suggestions for the company's marketing strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Chinese or Bilingual preferred
- Familiar with industry management laws and regulations and international trade,
- Able to effectively connect domestic and foreign customers and suppliers
- Familiar with market research, business contract negotiation, quotation analysis, and bidding management
- Have keen market insight, strong organizational coordination skills, and business analysis capabilities
Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range. This provides you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and advance your career at Gotion. The base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.
Salary : $130,000 - $200,000
