Job Summary:
The Finance Business Partner – Manufacturing will serve as the financial advisor to the manufacturing unit, ensuring cost efficiency, production profitability, and strategic financial planning. This role will be responsible for tracking manufacturing costs, optimizing production expenses, and analyzing financial performance to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage manufacturing budgets, forecasts, and cost models.
- Conduct variance analysis on direct and indirect manufacturing costs.
- Work closely with plant managers to improve cost efficiency and production planning.
- Monitor key manufacturing KPIs such as cost per unit, waste reduction, yield improvement, and labor efficiency.
- Assess capital expenditure (CapEx) requirements and track ROI on manufacturing investments.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings in materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or FP&A.
- Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory management, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and cost analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
