The mechanic is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repairs to company construction equipment such as Wheel loaders, Skiploaders, Skidsteers, Excavators, Dump trucks (10 wheelers), Backhoes and Utility trucks such as F250 and F350.

Gothic Landscape, Inc. is hiring an experienced heavy equipment mechanic to join their team.
The mechanic is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repairs to company construction equipment such as Wheel loaders, Skiploaders, Skidsteers, Excavators, Dump trucks (10 wheelers), Backhoes and Utility trucks such as F250 and F350.
Duties and Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Maintains company fleet of construction equipment in proper operating order.
- Repair and maintenance to company fleet trucks such as F-150,250, and 350.
- Diagnoses problems with equipment malfunctioning.
- Performs regular and routine maintenance on equipment such as changing oil, fuel filters, diesel filters, separators, fuel heaters, etc.
- Works on hydraulic systems.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements.
- Enforces all company safety policies and procedures.
- Must be able to perform B.I.T inspections for D.O.T and manage proper record keeping.
- 1 year certificate from college, technical school, or manufacturer training program (preferred not necessary), ASE certification highly preferred
- 1-3 years related experience within the vehicle/equipment field
- Must have knowledge & repair experience in: small hand-held tools, two cycle engine, heavy equipment (skid steer, bobcat, forklift, etc.) & electrical. Welding experience is helpful
- Must be able to perform compression & fuel pressure tests
- Must have a valid CA driver’s license in good standing
- Must be able to perform B.I.T. inspections for D.O.T. and manage proper record keeping.
