Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Remote | Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
This role is for an LPC licensed in Connecticut who will provide counseling to adults through virtual appointments. Clients may come in with concerns related to mood, trauma, grief, stress, relationships, or major changes in their lives. You will be responsible for guiding sessions, keeping each case organized, and recognizing when a concern needs more attention than routine outpatient counseling can provide.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Hold scheduled one-on-one counseling appointments by video
- Learn what is bringing each client to therapy and what they hope to work on
- Use your training and experience to shape the direction of sessions
- Document key details after appointments and keep records complete
- Watch for changes in symptoms, behavior, or level of risk
- Escalate concerns when additional clinical support is needed
- Arrange referrals when another provider or service is more appropriate
- Protect client privacy and maintain professional boundaries
- Meet Connecticut LPC practice and ethical requirements
- Active Licensed Professional Counselor license in Connecticut
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Experience providing therapy, counseling, or outpatient mental health services
- Comfortable working with clients through video-based therapy
- Strong documentation, communication, and time management skills
- $115,000–$120,000 per year
