What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Gotan?
Yuki's Bakery & Coffee is looking for experienced baristas to fill full-time / part-time positions. Experience in specialty coffee is preferred.
If you love coffee, and you love customer service im sure you love also freshly baked Challah bread or a Nutella Babka!
We are a new bakery in the neighborhood, that would like to grow with you as part of our team.
What we are looking for:
- Be passionate about customer service and coffee.
- Be a kind and welcoming person.
- Be able to work solo, and follow direction
- Previous barista experience A MUST (1-2 years). Proficiency in latte art, knowledge of different brewing methods, a friendly attitude.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment without sacrificing great service. You’re at your best and having fun when the pressure is on.
- We are working with Counter Culture, and giving the option to be train by them.
Gotan pays tribute to an infinite and evolving coffee Culture.
Our well-trained Baristas (some are a bit weird, some are too obsessed) are constantly trying to push the envelope in the art of coffee.
Our kitchen is light and seasonal with an emphasis on fresh vegetables.

Since our inception, we established a partnership with Counter Culture as our roaster, and we are proud to continue to serve Counter Culture coffee for over 8 years.
