Job Description:
As an HR Generalist at GoTags, you will be the primary point of contact for HR matters and will play a crucial role in supporting our employees and ensuring compliance with regulations. This position offers opportunities for growth and learning as you build and shape our HR department.
Responsibilities:
· Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention strategies, and compliance.
· Employee Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
· HR Information Systems (HRIS): Maintain employee records via Bamboo HR and attendance via Quick Books. Utilize data analytics and reporting for HR decision-making.
· Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievances, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Compensation and Benefits Administration: Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including wage administration, incentive programs, and employee benefits enrollment.
· Ensure Compliance: With federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEOC, ACA, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs related to compliance, safety and HR policies. Develop training programs, and coordinate employee development initiatives to enhance skills and competencies.
- Employee Recognition: Plan and coordinate various company events and surveys such as wellness, teambuilding, appreciation, contests, summer and holiday parties, rewards programs, etc.
- Performance Management: Manage performance including goal setting, evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and performance improvement plans.
- Strategic Business Partner: Serve as a strategic advisor to senior management on HR-related issues, providing insights and recommendations to support organizational growth and success.
· Assist with other HR projects and tasks as needed.
