We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead growth initiatives for The Got Mortgages Branch in Eatontown, New Jersey. This role focuses on building new referral partner relationships, expanding our professional network, and strategically recruiting high-performing loan officers and branch managers to scale our branch footprint. The BDM will play a pivotal role in driving production, revenue, and brand presence in key markets.
Key Responsibilities
Referral Partner Growth
- Identify, prospect, and secure new referral relationships with real estate agents, builders, attorneys, financial advisors, and other professionals.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase lead flow and closed loan volume from referral channels.
- Conduct presentations, networking events, and one-on-one meetings to showcase company value proposition.
- Maintain strong, ongoing communication with referral partners to ensure consistent engagement and production.
Recruitment & Expansion
- Source, recruit, and onboard experienced loan officers and branch managers aligned with company culture and production goals.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: outreach, relationship building, interviewing, and successful onboarding.
- Partner with leadership to design technology stacks, competitive compensation, incentive, and growth packages to attract top talent.
- Track market trends and competitor activity to identify recruiting opportunities and expansion strategies.
Business Development & Strategy
- Collaborate with leadership to set growth targets and execute business development strategies.
- Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Deliver weekly and monthly progress reports on new partner acquisition, loan officer recruitment, and overall production impact.
Qualifications
- MUST have Proven experience in real estate business development or recruiting.
- Established network of referral partners and/or loan officers strongly preferred.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and meet aggressive growth targets.
- Familiarity with mortgage products, compliance guidelines, and market dynamics.
