Inventory Manager
Got Gear Motorsports – Ridgeland, Mississippi
Got Gear Motorsports is looking for a dependable, motivated Inventory Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining, organizing, photographing, and moving our new and used powersports inventory throughout the dealership.
The Inventory Manager will work closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Department to make sure our inventory is clean, properly positioned, photographed, fueled, and ready to sell or deliver to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Department to move and position units as needed to support sales.
- Maintain the appearance and organization of all units on the showroom floor and outdoor inventory lot.
- Clean and prepare motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and other powersports units for display and sale.
- Prepare, clean, fuel, and stage units for customer delivery.
- Move units throughout the dealership, showroom, service area, and lot as directed by management.
- Take high-quality photographs of new and used inventory.
- Upload and post unit photographs to the dealership website and other online platforms.
- Make sure inventory is properly positioned and presented for customers and photographs.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and maintaining dealership inventory.
- Help locate and stage specific units for customers, sales staff, and management.
- Check units for basic cleanliness and presentation before they are shown to customers or delivered.
- Keep the inventory area, showroom, and lot organized and professional.
- Assist the sales and service departments with moving units and other dealership needs as directed.
- Perform other inventory-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous powersports, automotive, motorcycle, ATV/UTV, or dealership experience is helpful but not required.
- Must be comfortable operating and moving motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other powersports equipment.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
- Ability to safely operate equipment and vehicles in a dealership environment.
- Good attention to detail and pride in keeping equipment clean and presentable.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver powersports units and equipment.
- Basic computer and smartphone skills are required.
- Experience taking photographs and uploading pictures to websites or inventory systems is a plus.
- Must be willing to learn and take direction from management.
