What are the responsibilities and job description for the Debox Operator (Day Shift) position at Gossner Foods, Inc.?
Primary responsibilities:
- Must be responsible, Self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Must be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Must safely and efficiently operate forklifts and upload/Load trucks as needed.
- Must have the ability to learn and understand the cheese grading experience.
- Will help Debox Operators .Remove Cheese from packaging.
- Extra pay incentive for weekends work.
- Must be able to successfully complete a forklift certification test.
- Promptly Report all safety malfunctions on equipment.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment.
- Will be placed on an aggressive pay scale with upward potential based to quickly learn and understand the cheese aging and grading process.
- Will be trained to cover other forklift departments.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Will be required to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
Schedule:
- Day Shift, Monday to Thursday occasionally Fridays
- 6am to 6pm
- NO WEEKENDS!!
Pay
- Training pay starts at $19.10/Hour with a potential to reach $21.60/Hour after meeting all skill levels.
