What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Sales Development Representative (Hybrid → AE Path) position at GoSprout?
GoSprout is hiring a Senior SDR / Hybrid to help us grow enterprise and institutional partnerships as we scale our workforce and apprenticeship platform.
This is a consultative, relationship-driven sales role, not high-volume transactional SDR work. You’ll generate pipeline, run discovery, close smaller deals, and support enterprise opportunities alongside the Founder — with a clear path to Account Executive.
- Work existing pipeline, warm intros, and inbound leads in HubSpot
- Build new pipeline through targeted outbound and events
- Run discovery calls independently and confidently
- Close small annual deals ($2.5k–$7.5k) end-to-end
- Advance mid-market deals (~$12.5k ACV) with short sales cycles
- Support enterprise demos, negotiations, and expansions
- A hunter with strong relationship instincts
- Comfortable selling into enterprise, education, or public-interest environments
- Disciplined about follow-up and CRM hygiene
- Able to explain complex workforce topics clearly without buzzwords
- Motivated to grow into an AE role as the company scales
- Base: $65k–$85k
- Uncapped commission
- OTE: $90k–$120k
