What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineer position at GOSIGER AUTOMATION LLC?
Responsible for ensuring quality excellence in automated manufacturing systems, with a primary focus on inbound, internal assembly, and outbound quality control.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, maintain, and support AWR’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Lead internal audits and support external ISO certification audits.
- Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
- Drive corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
- Develop inspection criteria and process control plans for robotic operations.
- Troubleshoot quality issues related to robotic programming, tooling, sensors, and vision systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and design engineers to improve process repeatability and reliability
- Analyze quality data and KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Respond to customer quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Support supplier quality assessments and incoming inspection processes.
- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the automation department.
- Train production and technical staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and documentation.
- Based on business need; assist, support and/or perform other duties within scope and ability. Assumes accountability and responsibility for assigned projects and programs.
- 2 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
- Excellent personal / interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality data analysis tools.
- ASQ Certification (CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma Green Belt).
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Manufacturing and office work environment which includes moving mechanical machine parts, potentially loud equipment with exposure to a variety of non-hazardous and hazardous chemicals and airborne particles.
- Works in a warehouse environment. Job requires physical movement of materials. Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry packages up to 70 lb. and manipulate heavier items onto a skid, cart, etc.

- Occasional travel for supplier or customer visits.
- May require extended hours during project launch or audit periods.
