Your Role Includes:
- Parenting and mentoring boys in your care
- Managing household duties and maintenance
- Work with each boy in the areas of family life, spiritual growth, education, and the development of a strong work ethic.
- Help each boy develop a sense of responsibility, respect for the rights and property of others, personal values and self-esteem, personal reliance on self and God, and a life plan/direction.
- Keep accurate daily records of activities, finances, issues, and the individual progress of each boy.

Requirements
As a Goshen Valley Boys Ranch Houseparent you will:
- Be hired as a couple married to each other.
- One or both must have, or be working toward gaining a bachelors Degree, or have a minimum of three years of experience house-parenting for a youth care agency.
- Both must have a GED or High School Diploma.
- Must have a demonstrated understanding and ability to work with troubled youth, and have experience working with youth in an official capacity.
- Must be of good character, and supportive of the programs, policies, and ideals of GVBR.
- Must be able to pass a health exam, drug and background check, possess a valid driver’s license, and be insurable by the GVF insurance carrier.
- Must hold first aid and CPR certification, and have or obtain a minimum of 24 clock hours of training relative to working with troubled youth/childcare agency procedures, as required by the state.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide moral, ethical, and spiritual leadership that coincides with the program and policies of GVF.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
