What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool and Die Maker position at Goshen Stamping, LLC?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Repair tooling and die for production.
Ability to use lathes, mills, grinders, drills and wide variety of measurement devices to perform work.
Operate heat treat furnaces to properly heat treat die sections.
Interpret drawings and specifications to determine data such as hole sizes, tool sizes, reference points, and direction of machine cutting paths.
Active participant in the Goshen Quality System.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Training Requirements:
Journeyman tool and die maker successfully completed a four year apprenticeship program or the equivalent amount of years in the trade.
