The Goshen Center for Cancer Care is hiring a Board Eligible / Board Certified Breast Surgeon to join our exceptional team. This is a full-time position with shared call and inpatient coverage. We re looking for a passionate Physician to work in a team centered, collaborative environment.
Located in Northern Indiana, the Goshen Center for Cancer Care boasts a highly trained, nationally- recognized team of cancer specialists who come together and strategically develop an integrative treatment plan for each patient s case. Every week our team of medical, surgical, radiation oncologists, naturopathic providers, dieticians, and mind-body counselors meet to follow a patient s progress. - Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
- We will consider experienced candidates along with those coming out of fellowship
- Fulltime role with outpatient clinic, rare hospital rounding, procedure time and participation in interdisciplinary breast conference and collaborative care planning.
- On-call responsibility limited to after-hours practice on a rotating schedule
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide surgical care for patients with breast diseases.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic studies and imaging in collaboration with radiology and pathology.
- Educate patients and families about treatment options, preventive care and long term follow-up.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, attend and contribute to breast program conferences and quality meetings.
- Perform biopsies and small procedures in clinic setting.
