Position Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Registered nurse with a valid Indiana State RN license. As of May 1, 2016, Colleagues hired with an Associate’s Degree must enter into a BSN program within 12 months of hire and earn their BSN from a NLN or CCNE accredited program within 3 years of beginning their BSN degree.
- Minimum Requirements: Valid Driver’s License. Current auto insurance and access to automobile.
- Preferred Education: BSN
- Minimum Experience: One-year Med/Surg experience
- Preferred Experience: One to two years Homecare/Hospice experience
- Certifications Required: Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- Certifications Preferred: Hospice- CHPCN. Homecare- MedSurg, OASIS
The weekend premium is effective from 5:00 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday. It is applicable only to work performed by colleagues who have been assigned to the weekend shift and who have signed the memorandum of understanding and agreement and agree to the terms of the plan. A weekend shift will be 12 hours. Colleagues will work two (2), twelve (12) hour shifts. Overtime will be paid only for hours worked in excess of forty (40) in a seven-day workweek, as defined by Goshen Health per Department of Labor FLSA regulations. The 12 hours excludes lunchtime.
