Primary Duties & Responsibilities

1. Mobile (Vehicle) Patrols – 70% of Time

• Conduct continuous roving patrols in a marked security vehicle throughout all levels of the parking deck.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, unauthorized persons, loiterers, or abandoned vehicles.
• Check vehicle license plates when required, ensuring bank staff parking spots are respected.
• Watch for vandalism, theft, or attempted break-ins.
• Maintain radio or phone communication with on-site personnel or dispatch during patrol.

2. Foot Patrols – 30% of Time

• Conduct foot patrols through stairwells, elevators, corners, and blind spots not easily visible from a vehicle.
• Check for hazards (e.g., water leaks, poor lighting, damaged barriers) and report issues.
• Verify that fire exits, doors, and emergency equipment remain unobstructed and functional.
• Engage with employees or customers to offer assistance or report issues.

Incident Response & Reporting

• Respond to alarms, disturbances, or reported suspicious activity promptly.
• Notify law enforcement or emergency services when appropriate.
• Write detailed incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Preserve scene integrity for investigations when needed.

Customer Service & Deterrence

• Provide visible deterrence to criminal activity through professional presence.
• Offer courteous assistance to staff and bank customers when appropriate (e.g., directions, safety escorts).
• Act as the first point of contact in the parking deck for safety concerns.

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere strictly to all bank security policies and procedures.
• Remain alert and vigilant throughout the entire shift.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and wear the required uniform.
• Participate in periodic training sessions and drills.

Required Qualifications

• Valid security guard license or certification [as required by jurisdiction].
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently and remain alert during quiet hours.
• Strong observational and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
